Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

Blessed Sacrament Church hosts a Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults program (RCIA) each year, running from mid-October through the Easter Season.

The program is designed to offer support and guidance to those seeking to become members of the Catholic Church.

We also welcome those who have been baptized in the Catholic Church or other Christian traditions who have not yet received the sacraments of reconciliation, Eucharist and confirmation.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults

The RCIA group meets every Monday evening from 7.00 – 8:30 p.m. in the Loretto Room of the church. Sessions involve prayer, education and social time. From January through to Easter, we attend Sunday Mass together as a group.

RCIA applications are available in the parish office. Brief welcome interviews are conducted during the month of September.
